He has been an unrelenting student of markets and economics during his entire 37-year career. His unique experience and expertise has led to the creation of a number of proprietary indicators that have become essential to our portfolio management process.

Nick has been with PWA since 2007. He holds a bachelor's degree in business along with the Certified Financial Planner designation. He is our Co-Chief Investment Officer and head trader. He collaborates on all aspects of our portfolio management processes, including the design and implementation of our derivatives hedging strategies, as well as the rebalancing of, and rotation within, asset classes across client portfolios (essentially working with asset mixes and proposing strategies that would reach our target allocations while considering tax-efficiency and other factors pertinent to our process).
Dan started his career in finance in 2014 with TD Ameritrade in San Diego, where he passed both the Series 7 and Series 63 exams. While at TD he worked with multiple advisors and was ultimately rewarded with a promotion to Senior Relationship Manager on the Business Transitions Team.
In 2018, Dan joined LPL Financial as an Admin Solutions Manager, providing daily support and leadership to a team of admins serving advisors and institutions.
Dan now serves a dual role as PWA’s Chief Operations Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. AS COO, Dan oversees daily operations and develops workflows, maintaining a seamless client service experience. As CCO, he ensures that PWA is operating within all federal and state guidelines.
Gladys has been managing the critical juncture between office management and client service since the firm's infancy back in 1999. Her warm, friendly, sincere and caring ways make her an absolute favorite with PWA's clientele!
Ryan administers multiple client service functions behind the scenes from start to finish. His technical expertise in areas like excel have been instrumental to several of our research and monitoring processes/functions.
Catherine Fitzgerald, an experienced executive, natural leader, business coach, speaker, and writer with 35+ years’ experience with a proven track record in developing people, performance, and profits. Her focus is on building and scaling strong businesses by helping employers to engage and align their employees. She’s served in many capacities in a variety of industries from banking to health insurance and from choral music to feeding the hungry. Catherine is passionate about helping people which has been the common thread throughout her career. She joined PWA in 2021 and brings her experience and relationships to business development.
