Headline of the Day

Stocks, in a virtual instance, gave up the majority of their gains this morning on the following headline:

“China Walking Back Some Trade Offers”

Apparently this has to do with issues around intellectual property rights.


The market’s response speaks loudly to the importance of a workable trade deal.


Keep in mind, both sides know how critical to their short and long-term ambitions a legitimate trade deal is. At this juncture, we can, therefore, consider this to be little more than a bit of posturing on China’s part.
