Target says it’s hiring more seasonal help this year than any traditional retailer ever has. And, of course, more folks receiving a paycheck just improves the prospects for strong Q4 consumer spending:
“On Thursday, Target Corp. said it planned to take on 120,000 seasonal workers, the largest holiday hiring announcement from a brick-and-mortar retailer on record, according to Challenger tracking.” Bloomberg…
One problem though, per Thursday’s blog post, there’s scant supply of available workers.
